Have Fun at the Plymouth Fall Festival

If you want to attend an event that features delicious food, lively entertainment, and unique crafts, look no further than the Plymouth Fall Festival.

Held September 8-10 in downtown Plymouth, this event began as a community picnic in 1956.

It turned into a fall festival four years later and today, highlights include:

Taste Fest – Taste Fest is one of the festival’s most popular events, and it’s where visitors can try dishes from several area restaurants. Those participating include Mongolian Grill, Happy’s Pizza & Ribs, and Grand Traverse Pie Company.

Rotary BBQ – The Rotary BBQ takes place on the tenth at Kellogg Park. Advance tickets are eleven dollars (thirteen at the door), and the delicious meal includes chicken, corn on the cob, a roll, cookie, and bottled water.

Pet Show – Sit back and watch as adorable animals compete in categories such as Longest Ears, Best Dressed, and Most Colorful.

Bingo – Back by popular demand, Bingo is for those eighteen and older. Games will be continually called between 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and three grand slam games will take place during this time.

Global Village – Global Village is known as the premier party band in the Lansing area. The musicians take influence from groups such as The Temptations and Earth, Wind and Fire, and their lively shows often draw a large crowd.

The Plymouth Fall Festival is just one of the many events that you can attend if you call Fairlane Woods Apartments home. Please contact us to schedule a tour where you can see our amenities firsthand.
