The Eastern Market dates back more than 150 years making it one of the oldest and largest year-round markets in the country.

It began from humble beginnings with a small barn on one acre, and today it includes the original property as well as five acres from one neighbor and two acres from another. Mrs. Pruitt’s Cha Cha Gourmet Salsa
Since the 19th century, Ma Pruitt’s salsa recipe has been handed down through the family for generations. They grow their own vegetables and take pride in urban farming. The salsa is both gluten-free and vegan-friendly and comes in mild and hot.
